12-17-06: HUNDREDS OF NEW VIDEOS.....HUNDREDS MORE ON THE WAY
Click the link below and check out some Shockwave format flash videos. We have thre rest of the videos I have from the "Nightmare" racing team, and the "Spoilt" racing team. And don't miss the "And more spoilt coverage" for more videos added to that topic. We have the complete coverage from the Gumbo event in Linn, Missouri. Have the rest of the video footage I managed to get from Dusty's and the gangs event down at Miami, Oklahoma. Also have some video Dusty took at a KMRO event at the beginning of 2006. Have video that Granny took at Jeff's at Cole Camp, Missouri. Have a little bit of footage from a Granny's event. Have the rest of the Stompers4x4 Event in Lancaster , Kansas in 2006. And have my video coverage from D-Day in Wyandotte, Oklahoma from back in March of 2006!
www.stompers4x4motorsports.com and click on "Shockwave" videos.
Apologies for all the unmarked footage that you have to search through. And the flash format is a lot less quality than the previous formats I have used. Back the fact of the matter is that handling in this manner allows me time to post a lot more.....and gives me space to post a lot more! When I first started the site, I only had room for about a dozen 10 second videos! We have come a long way!!!!
The first 10 videos in some categories may also be repeated. I had to tweak the format of the videos and it was easiest to do it in this manner for consistency of the files I save. So....if you see some repeats.....just skip around for now and you will see some new footage!

12-04-06: RULES UPDATE
Thanks for all the
responses guys. Getting the attention and/or directly working with
Nick and Dusty let them get a lot of the feedback.
We have been trying to find a balance and we did end up making
changes to the DRAG STOCK class. For crossover purposes and
appealing to as many racers that gave us feedback as possible, that
venue specific DRAG STOCK class now mirrors the "A" Bog class rather
than being so wide open.
I also had mislabeled one of the classes so that name of the class
did not really match the rules in it. But the correction was made on
the site.
12-04-06: GRANNY'S 2007 RULES POSTED
Not much changed - but the
2007 rules are posted at
www.grannysmudder.com
I am still working on a site overhaul for 2007 at Grannys - but the
rules are new.
I posted hundreds of videos this past weekend on some of the web
sites this past weekend and lets just say I am just getting started
on all the sites I am working on.
Granny's will have the event dates announced soon - but the dates
will probably be the second Saturday of selected months....just like
the last three year! So be sure and come out and enjoy the fun!
12-04-06: XMRO RULES LATER THIS WEEK
Should have them posted later this week. www.xmro.net

Thanks to Mike for sending in some photos and video from the Morocco Mud Drags in Indiana. Click the links below.
12-03-06: TEAM XTREME ON LINE.
Just putting together a new site for Nathan Whitley and the Team Xtreme Gang. But you can already go and visit and check out over an hours worth of video coverage. Some Quicktime videos courtesy of Matt Neill. And than some MAMR coverage from The Team Xtreme guys. Bookmark the site because there is a lot more in the works..
http://www.teamxtrememudracing.com/index.htm
12-03-06: LOTS OF NEW VIDEO ON LINE
We got some video starting to come on line from Spoilt Racing, Nightmare Racing, Zimmy Racing, Gumbo at Linn, Stompers4x4 in Kansas City, Kansas and Stompers4x4 in Lancaster, Kansas. And all the coverage I have managed to get from McLouth, Kansas and Laswon, Missouri. Also have some from Dusty & the Miami, Oklahoma event coming on line.
Good news: Hours of footage on line.
Not so good news: Shockwave format to save some space. Link format to share as much as I can without taking me forever to post. No previews to share to save me time so it is kinda hit and miss finding what you might like to watch. Quality of video varies. Once you click on a link, give the (average 2 minutes segments) time to download. If you have Macromedia Flashplayer installed on your PC, it should open up and play. To improve viewing quality, you may shrink the window or the player to a smaller size for better video viewing. This is all RAW footage. So you might download two minutes and you might not actually end up with racing. Also had some kids filming for me at a couple of Stompers events. Could be some kids joking around in some of the footage. Good news is that they were my backup so they may have caught some action from a different perspective.
If I find some videos that turn out to be junk, I will remove or re-edit them. So if you see a skip, I might have removed something.
So....bare with the downside and I can share more video than we ever have before.
It still took a lot of time investment on these and the many that will follow....so I hope you all enjoy!

Got a few Outlaw workshop pics that I had the opportunity to get tonight:

11-27-06: DRAG CLASSES POSTED
If you check the Stompers4x4 Event rules section, you can see we have added the expected Drag Classes. Drag classes will be added to specific venues only. We will continue to have Bogs and run all Bog classes at every event we do. Yet if the opportunity arises at specific locations (specifically space requirements) then we will add a second drag track.
When we announce an event location, we will also announce if we will have a second track. We also will announce exactly what Drag classes we will have at the event.
So for example we have 4 drag classes listed on the event rules page. (All taken from Granny's Mud Run Fast Track set-up). So we will announce, for example, that Drag Prostock Class will be ran at "this" particular venue. (Which is the equivalent of "H" class in 2006).

11-14-06: 2007 MUD BOG RULES POSTED
A lot of time was spent this previous season reviewing how we could make things better on several different levels.
The final set of rules drawn up allows for adding a class while eliminating a class that had basically became a duplicate class.
Please review the rules carefully because the class letters have been altered. At first glance you may think something has been eliminated when it may just have a new class letter assigned to it.
Nick and Dusty spent quite a bit of time reviewing these rules and have a comprehensive understanding of the structure.
So this year we recommend that you contact Nick 913-238-5996 and Dusty 816-935-5794 directly to help answer all of your questions. Be sure and leave a message if they are not available. You can also reach Dusty on the message board under "DustyDegraff" and Nick under "American Outlaw." I think if you focus your questions with these two representatives, they are best able to clarify anything for you quickly.
Thanks for participating in the events and we look forward to seeing you in 2007! Click the link below.
Note: We will have some Drag Classes posted soon. The drags will be for selected venues in a seperate pit from the bog. Selected Drag classes will be in affect and announced when we announce our venue.

11-12-06: NEW PHOTOS
Got some new Snapshots. (Pictures from Video). This set is more from the Top Mud Challenge that the GUMBO organization had in Linn, Missouri this past summer. Looking at 7,000 plus images. These photos are actually auto rendered from film. So there is a lot of same but different photos and a lot of blurry ones. But just look the thumbnails over carefully and just pick and choose which ones you want to click on.
Also, space is limited on the Gumbo site. So these photos are actually stored on the Stompers4x4Motorsports site where I have a lot more space. Check the link below and be sure and visit www.gumbo4x4.com
Go to the Snapshot Gallery at www.stompers4x4motorsports.com and check out Gallery 63-104. Or click the link below and look for the links to those galleries.

11-5-06: THANKS TO THOSE WHO ADDED THERE SIGNATURE TO CHERYL'S NEXT MEMORY QUILT!
Thanks for Cheryl coming to the Lawson event and allowing the racers to add their signature to the next memory quilt project. She also brought the previous memory quilt you can see below. It was made of mud racing shirts that the Mud Special, Hicks Racing team has collected over many years of racing.
11-5-06: VIDEO SEGMENTS
Experimenting with a new way to share some videos. The first set of video is from Perry's Classic Collection. These are 2 minute video segments. On a negative note for some, they are large files and the are lower quality. You may also need to get a free macromedia flash player to view them. On a positive note, lower quality means smaller file size and faster download time. They should also start playing while they are still downloading. Check them out and let me know if you have any problems.
Also note, they are unedited chunks. Less editing time for me means I have time to share more. So apologies if you download a whole lot of nothing....but I know there is mud racing within each segment! So when all is said and done....I hope you enjoy the video!
Thanks to Perry for sharing this video. He said this footage was from a MMRA event in Adrian, Missouri.

10-23-06: HOW ABOUT A 10,000+ NEW PHOTO UPDATE?
We have so much going in the mud racing world that I have been experimenting with ways to share more in less time. I have found a way to make the pc generate photos from video with less of my help. As a matter of fact, I was not even around while a lot of these photos were being generated and uploaded.
The downside....the pc likes to freak out and snap a bunch of photos when there was not a lot of action. It would also take blurry images or whatever images from whatever the camera was pointed at at that particular moment.
So....you are going to have to sort your own photos! Take a look at the thumbnail before you click on it. I am just looking at them for the first time as you are too!
I know not everyone has the time or connection capacity to download all the videos. So here is a way to share a little more with everyone.
This first batch contain Part I of the Stompers4x4 Event in Kansas City in Galleries 1-32. It also contains video footage courtesy the Hein's of "Nightmare" racing in Galleries 33-42. This is from Nebraska events. It also contains video footage courtesy the Anderson's of "Spoilt" racing in Galleries 43-51. This is from Nebraska Events. And the last batch is from Zimmy and contains various pieces of events from the last six years. This is Galleries 52-65.
And to find all this footage.....you can visit a new web site made just for storage purposes. Just follow the link below because I am still designing a cover for the actual site.

10-19-06: KIPP FINDLEY UPDATE
There was an accident at a race down in Texas last weekend. A well known racer needs our hopes and prayers! It is Kipp Findlay.
Got an email from Dennis Hinson from Team Motorjam.
The best thing everyone can do right now is visit our site when they get time, we will be posting updates daily. Kipp is undergoing the second of many surgeries as we speak. He had over 20 breaks in both his legs. There is also account info on our site where those that desire to do so can help out with the huge medical expenses he and his family will be facing.
At this time, the main thing we ask is for everyone to keep Kip in there prayers. It also needs to be known that Kip did one hell of a job driving. He traveled over 700ft with a hung throttle on a 2500hp blower motor, and finally sent the car into a wooded area, avoiding the very crowded pit area. He had to be doing between 130-150mph at point of impact. I have heard comment after comment on kill switches, fuel cut offs and remote ignition kill switches. These all sound wonderful. Bottom line is- right now, all we are worried about is Kipp, and to get him better, then to learn from this terrible accident.
Thanks,
dh

10-8-06: WORKING ON A NEW SITE: DEATH ROW DIESEL
Ever since I have created the Stompers4x4 site I have talked to fans all over the country. One of the people I have gotten to know over the years is Cody down in Texas! Not only has Cody decided he wants a business/play site for his hobbies, but he is starting to get into more mud racing. We are just in the creation stages and he has plenty of material to send me.....but he already sent me some racing photos from last weekend. So I thought I would go ahead and share them with you!

Scott
I am starting to make my mother's memory quilt out of here mud
racing t-shirts (have you seen the one I did for Perry?)
Anyway, I have looked and looked for the perfect material for the
sashing between the blocks and haven't found a thing I liked.
But today I got a brilliant idea - at least I think so. I
would like to get autographs of mud racers she knew on the sashings.
They would need to be large enough that I could embroidery
over them so that they will last forever. I would mail the
sashing piece with a postage paid return envelope to who ever
would like to be on it. All I would need is for
them to e-mail me their address to -
spotcat50@aol.com or even
call me at -816.682.4305. Actually, their name and the
name of their racer would be even better.
Thanks,
Cheryl

9-24-06: BENEFIT RACE UPDATE
Benefit Mud Race Update.....contact Dusty if you want to make this happen. Oct 21st at Grannys:
From Dusty: It would be 100% payback(if guys throw the winnings back into the fund great- if not great too! ) but all entry fee will be paid as usual to the racers 50-30-20. if we can get a tractor to do pullout on the bog and get something to stir the pit with (backhoe- trackhoe) we will do this race- if not then it wont really be worth the time as the gate monies is how i support this race. so upfront- i know right now the land will cost me $300 the toilets $150 so $450 comes out of the gate. if we get a pullback and a backhoe to mix up our pit then all else from the gate will be placed with what matt has collected to go towards replacing tires for our fellow friend/racers who lost them due to a few stupid people. anyways if anyone wants to help with these items call me 816-935-5794. no trophies at this one. all entry fee will be paid to the drivers and both bog and drag will run. only problem i see is getting the equipment to cut the cost and also the late date means cold weather and most trucks have been parked. will probably be a 12noon start time. right now its all tentative speaking. have to see if we can come thru with a few things to make it cost effective to be able to make money for the fund. also - the bog pit filled up with water this last week after big storms- so no need to haul water and plenty to spray the drag with too.- thanks- dusty

Keep checking the site and be sure and join us for the Excelsior Springs area event....which is actually Lawson, Missouri. (I keep saying Excelsior since that is the area that I was originally told and don't want to get a bunch of emails if I switched it now, asking me if it was cancelled!)
So keep checking the site because the guys think they might go ahead and do a fast track at the location with the bog pit! They are going to inspect the land carefully and check the measurements and make sure we can have it. I should have an official work next week and it looks very positive. And also, the breakdown of the added classes will be posted as well.

9-19-06: REWARD MONEY BEING OFFERED FOR TIRES & WHEELS - MATT VOSS HEADING THIS UP - RACERS DONATING TO REWARD MONEY - CONTACT MATT FOR MORE DETAILS. MORE INFO FROM MATT BELOW:
POST FROM MATT: I WILL START THIS REWARD PURSE IN HOPES THAT OTHERS WILL JOIN IN AND POSSIBLY DO THE SAME AND WE WILL RECOVER THESE TIRES. I will pay anyone $100.00 for any good lead that locates and recovers the stolen tires at McLouth. If you know anything please contact any of the Stompers members or Terry Beets himself or you can private message me. Please remember people this could have been your tires stolen as easy as it was theirs. If we can get some money out there as a reward it may help. I feel this is the least I can do to see that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Hey Scott
Here is the information for posting. Thanks again, Matt

POST FROM MATT: I will keep
track of the amounts that everyone sends in. And in the event that
all tires are recovered and no one is prosecuted or tires merely
show up and the reward is not used all the monies sent in will be
returned in full. This fund will not be dispursed or used in any way
shape or form without the approval of the people that have sent in
the money. My hope is that the tires will show up and not cost
anything. We will just have to see what happens. I will merely be
holding your money sent in. Not spending it
Maybe we could even recognize the people that have given to this
cause in some way shape or form on the website. But even if that
doesn't happen please let me be the first to thank you for your
consideration and generosity if you chose to help out no matter how
much that may be. Anything will be greatly appreciated. It is my
hope that even if the tires are not recovered we get enough money
together to be able to replace them in full. My fellow mud racers
have always been there for me wether that be borrowing there
parts, tires, information and tips, and physical help working on my
ride. This is one small way I feel I can repay that. Thanks all!
This is the coolest sport in the world to be a part of. Dirtiest
though

9-19-06: WHO IS UP FOR A BENEFIT RUN? CONTACT DUSTY 816-935-5794
A POST FROM DUSTY: just a thought-(after i read it somewhere on one of the threads) we have the insurance paid thru oct.(at grannys mud run in urich,mo www.grannysmudder.com ) if we could get equip donated and try to keep the cost minimal so all proceeds would benefit the tire fund we could pull it off. have to check on the water issue might have to have volunteers to haul water- anyways just a thought october 21st looks like its open. throwing it out there for everyone to think about. as a fellow stompers club member i can speak for all of the others when i say we are sickened this thievery happened at one of our events.
A POST FROM SCOTT: Sounds
like an excellent idea Dusty. Your facility has both bog and drag
capabilities, so both groups can come out and have some October
racing fun for a great cause!
But we would need some people to step forward and volunteer
equipment wise so we can maximize the profit margin and raise some
funds!
A chance to have one more event before winter and to raise some
funds to help out racing community out!
And I know Dusty - every available nickel in profit would go to this
cause. And the insurance is already paid for!!!

left, that will be Union St. Go 3/10 mile to where pavement ends.
Turn right on Steam Engine Ln. That will take you past the water
tower and into the grounds.

9-10-06 THE XMRO BEGINS!
Thanks to all those who came out to support
us in Mansfield! You guys made new opportunities happen!!!!
Our sanctioning body is moving forward here in the Midwest, thanks
to US Extreme Championships!
We are looking at two new XMRO sanctioned events in 2007. Two events
with $10,000 added prize money.....each!!! And then a third
invitational event later in the season!
Our first event is being finalized and details to be decided, but we
are looking at Columbia, Missouri in May 2007.
Yes, Bog and Drag events!
The XMRO is going to be about quality over quantity. And the US
Extreme Championships team are quality experts! It is going to be an
honor to work with them!
How many events are we planning? That is to be decided. Don't forget
we are also working on some new and exciting opportunities for
Stompers4x4 and Granny's in 2007!
We hope everyone out there makes some time on their schedule to come
and participate and attend! We are working day and night trying to
make things better and better all the time!
INFO FROM DUSTY:
scott said it all above. two new events for sure with a $10,000 purse, one in may in columbia,mo area.(the first being a drag event) the us extreme championships/xmro spring nationals will kick off in may 2007 what we hope you the racers will see is going to be a quality races to attend. alot of planning has gone into this organization and alot of planning ahead to make this go smoothly. we have a great team in place and are honored to work with our partners- US EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIPS!! plus we will still have the west plains,mo invitational next year too. looking to add maybe 2-3 more events. obviously they cant all be $10,000 purse races but the races will be showcasing the best in the business and the future stars of mud racing. the second $10,000 purse race is still in the air for location. we are looking into now a few ideal spots and tracks. going to be exciting year in 2007. thanks again to all who showed up to support the effort. that being said, we are not here to run any organization out,we are simply doing what we can to make the sport better and grow. and we will always do our best to promote professional organizations and promoters and work with others when possible.

9-9-06 STAFF MEETING BEFORE MCLOUTH
![]()
Our planning met and we had a great meeting last week. We have some plans that we are putting in place to help the McLouth Event run as fast and smoothly as possible. All competitors please attend the Drivers meeting so you can here the plans. Please help us put on a great show so that we can keep the race moving!
Policy Updates: Tire Change Policy for McLouth - we will have 10 minute breaks between classes which should cover unfortunate running numbers. If you think you will need more....bring it up at the beginning of the night to our pit operators. If you give them a heads up, they may even help you get your tires changed. Also - Alcohol and Nitros runners - make sure you have your fire suit. And we will actually have markers available so please mark your running numbers on your front windshield. We got out of the habit of that since we have all gotten to know one another so well! Thanks for your help! I have spent a great deal of time talking to the residents of McLouth and they are very appreciative of everyone coming from all over for this event! So please come on out and put on a great show for these folks!

Thanks to all of those who attended (and even thanks to those who wanted too but were unable to come over the holiday weekend). The show you guys put on was great and we really appreciate the support. We never expected such a huge turnout! We apologize that our concession stand ran out of food - we had no idea with had so many people coming! And we hope you enjoyed my Uncle Mike's cooking! So on behalf of the whole Stompers4x4 staff....THANK YOU!
Thanks to everyone! Thanks to all of those racers and fans that do not hesitate to help out and play a role at the events. Our events are about you all - and you all put on an incredible show.

9-4-06 XMRO UPDATE
![]()
Thanks to all
those who have shown so much interest in the XMRO - Xtreme Mud
Racing Organization. Racers are learning quickly that this
organization is going to be about the racers. And other
organizations are figuring out that this organization is not a
threat or a competitive body......it is a new opportunity to make
the sport grow.
What else can we say now….. XMRO is going to be about quality of
races over quantity. We are going to take a few risks and maybe
these bold moves will pay off. There is no guarantee that this
organization will thrive....it will depend on you racers and your
support. And that support will provide us the opportunity to bring
more sponsors to the table.
We welcome you to ask us questions about putting on an event. You
can contact the point man, Dusty Degaffenried at 816-935-5794 and I
will soon have a new web site up,
www.xmro.net where
we can share more information with you.
Another question that comes up is that Dusty and Scott are involved
and how does the XMRO relate to Granny's and Stompers. We give
Grannys 100% of our efforts as a permanent facility based in one
town. We give Stompers 100% of our efforts as a Eastern Kansas and
Western Missouri based events around the region in which its members
live. And we give 100% of our efforts to XMRO - which is a
regional/midwest/national sanctioning body based organization. And
we still give 100% effort in supporting our friends in putting on
events and doing whatever we can to help them have a quality event.
Lots of efforts all around for you all! But realize that we are
actually just getting started!

9-4-06 STOMPERS4X4 PLANNING COMMITTEE
We recently
had a Stompers4x4 organizational meeting. We have quite a collection
of members that want to step up and do more. So much so, we had to
figure out a way to make them a bigger part of the process. So we
have formed a Stompers Planning Committee to help make each one of
these events come together in each town we have an event. Thanks to
Andy, Colton, Dusty, Jimmy, John, and Nick for stepping up and taken
on even more responsibilities.
I dont want to leave anyone out in the group that has done so much
for us, so anyone else wanting to step up and be apart of this
planning committee, just let us know. Otherwise just being a member
of our group is more help than we could ever ask you for and you all
are very much appreciated. You extra efforts do not go unnoticed. We
have always been a group of friends and always will be.
One thing that we discussed at our first meeting was trying to come
up with a better method of communication with you and with one
another. What we have works now, but there is always room for
improvement. I will be coming up with some new contact methods for
everyone really soon.
And attention SPC - we are planning on meeting on Wednesday night September 6, 2006
